Suitable for the older property, includes small and large knots, cracked knots, colour variation, splits and grub worm holes. This character can be filled by the end user if preferred. Looks warm and inviting in rustic pubs, log cabins, old barns, church halls etc...

Some boards may
contain a few small knots, while others may contain larger rustic
knots which may require some filling. The overall colour of the
rustic grade is a warm brown but light sapwood and some mineral
colour are allowed. |

Boards may
contain some or all of the following features:- small and large
knots, cracked knots, burrs, colour variation, an occasional crack
and smallish holes. Some filling may be necessary. The overall
effect shows a pleasing scattering of knots and a little colour
variation. |

Shows faint
natural grain patterns and very few knots. The colour of the prime
grade is a warm brown less mineral colour is allowed. Boards contain
few small thumb nail size knots while some boards are clear. The
overall effect shows a warm pleasing colour with natural close grain
patterns.
